Facebook.com now reports over 500 million users on its website. Facebook is deeply rooted in the academic community being founded in early 2004 by two students from their Harvard dorm room. While now Facebook is open to many outside of the academic community it has remained very much connected to college student life. University libraries all over the country and world now have Facebook pages and groups. Union University with over 4600 fans and many of its academic departments have Facebook pages and now so does the Summar Library. We will be posting updated hours, new resources, events and putting some videos up. So don't hesitate to become our friend.
