"Congratulations! Today is your day. You're off to Great Places! You're Off and Away!"-Dr. Seuss

This upcoming Saturday, at Union Commencement, the largest class of graduates in Union's history will walk across the stage and get their diploma. Approximately 625 students will commence the next phase of life. While indeed we are celebrating and acknowledging the accomplishments of those who have studied hard at Union we also know that this is just the beginning of a bright future for our graduates and that is why the ceremony is referred to as commencement.  After four years of challenging study and meaningful relationships it may be difficult to decide what to do next after college and it might be something that takes you some time to discover. But keep a positive outlook! Perhaps Dr. Seuss said it best, "you have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose." Two of the common things that people do after college is either begin looking for jobs or go on to do graduate study. Paul Sorrell has created a display just outside of the library to help you with the next step particularly on job interviews. Meanwhile if you are looking to attend graduate school then the The Princeton Review is a great resource for preparing and looking into places to study. If you are taking the GRE, LSAT, MCAT or some other graduate school entrance exam then the library's test prep section could really help you. The Summar Library would like to thank all of our Union grads and will miss those of who have spent many long hours and late nights with us. The case just outside the library, created by Paul Sorrell, includes the following resources and they can be checked out. Just ask!
